My bulldog Bertha is 13months old and she is not as big as she should be for a bulldog, what are some good home reciepes that i can make her or some good dog food that you would recommend?

Do you mean you want her to just gain weight because she is thin or that you want her to grow bigger? You cannot feed her extra or better to make her get bigger. It doesn’t work that way. She will grow to the size her genes dictate. In the bulldog breed, that’s a pretty broad range really depending on the breeder and the dog’s lines but GENERALLY females should be about 40 lbs when fully mature (which can take 1-4 years depending on the lines). If she is too thin, you need to take her to the vet and find out WHY she is too thin. Do not overfeed her to make her weigh more if she’s at a good weight for her size. Extra weight will only shorten her life and increase the risk of health complications. Bulldogs have enough health risks without extra weight being added to the equation. If she’s just not as big as you want, forget about it and love her for who and what she is. She loves you unconditionally regardless of how you look. Return the favor!
