We have a Lemon/White Clumber Spaniel ‘Bess’ who seems to scratch an awful lot. She has been allergy tested with negative result. We tried to contact the breeder to see if this is a common problem but can’t get a reply. Anyone else have this problem, or a solution. We have tried diet/shampoos/immune suppressants etc; Any advice welcomed.

What kind of food are you feeding her?
I would suggest to find something that is completely grain free. Blue Buffalo has a line especially tailored for dogs that tend to have allergic reactions to their food.
What kind of shampoo are you using?
I would suggest using something that is oatmeal based or even puppy shampoo. You can also try adding a little bit of olive oil to her food to help hydrate her skin.
