I really like the breed. My buddy has a cane Corso that is very nice. I heard they are unpredictable though and I recently took my Doberman to the vet, and asked him what he thought about me getting one and he said in his opinion that I should stay away from the breed. He also stated that he refuses to treat them and has told people that if they had a cane corso that they need to go to a different vet. Should I not get one?

Cane Corsi tend to be unsocial dogs if not properly socialized as a puppy. Your vet may not trust the breed due to the chance that they may be aggressive. They are fairly large dogs with a powerful bite. Your vet also may be worried on how the Doberman may react to the Cane Corso. Both are large, territorial dogs that may not mix well together. If your bet recommends against it you should proabably listen to him.
