I would like to see the volpino italiano, kooikerhondje, and the Leonberger.
This is, of course, assuming that unscrupulous backyard breeders would leave them alone!
I don’t believe that the AKC is the be-all, end-all of registeries – rather, there are many activities associated with the AKC that would be fun to do with your dog, if only the dog could be registered . . .

Your last line summed up my reason for seeing none of them added. Their breed clubs are right in not applying for AKC. As most clubs noticed as the breed is accepted into the larger & reputable clubs. more ppl see them & want them w/o doing their research into the breed & crappy breeders are right there to hand them a puppy for price of course. It is a kinda vicious cycle of pluses & minuses to being accepted into AKC.
