I really want to get a Havanese puppy, but I want a dog that is good for the whole family. I have a little Terrier and she is only attached to me. Does a Havanese do the same thing?

Usually a dog will get attached to it’s main caretaker. If one person in the house is feeding, walking, paying attention to the dog the most, training and grooming the dog then that is the one person the going to get attached to. Havanese are great family dogs, but like I said, any dog will get attached to it’s main caretaker the most. If you want a dog to bond equally with everyone then you have to have everyone participate in the dog’s care equally.
